Merry Sheridan knew she was a singer and songwriter for as long as she could remember. When her dad brought home an old Harmony six-string he’d spotted at a garage sale, it changed her life. With rusty strings and a body held together with wood glue, she taught herself to play and discovered something deeper: what she calls a little Muse DNA.

By thirteen, she was writing songs and hasn’t stopped since.

An instinctive storyteller with hundreds of original songs, Merry writes music that takes you somewhere—layered, witty, passionate, and soulful. Independent, a little wild, and deeply driven, she moved out on her own at sixteen and started her first original band. If there was a place to play, she played it—always performing her own music, always writing what came next.

Blending poetic lyrics with strong hooks, her sound crosses Americana, folk, blues, and rock, carried by a smoky mezzo-soprano voice that feels both intimate and powerful. Her music feels less like a performance… and more like a conversation you didn’t know you needed.
